Nuway Capital is democratising investment into artificial intelligence infrastructure, along with some other opportunities. The firm bases its philosophy on delivering those investments at a price point that even retail investors can afford, and in an ethical and sustainable manner.
In addition, there is also a small business investment capability: expanding companies can use Nuway to benefit from funding and business accelerator services. Central to the model is the Nuway Foundation, which places people, purpose and planet at the heart of growth strategies.
Nuway combines the skills, experience and insight of its three founders: Stephane Helene, William Fielding and Colin Bosher. Together they bring innovative technology, business accelerator and alternative investment smarts to democratise the opportunity. It is an opportunity that used to really belong to very wealthy investors and institutions.
Nuway’s founders argue that for too long, high growth markets have been the preserve of financial elites. Risk averse funding has hampered ambitious company expansion and growth has come at the expense of wider society.
Providing exposure to the economics of hosted GPUs
Nuway Capital offers a layered approach to portfolio growth that mitigates risk, while also democratising access to existing and emerging high growth markets.
For starters they are helping investors to benefit from the fantastic economics of GPUs. While there is enormous interest in NVIDIA NASDAQ:NVDA stock, Nuway can bring individuals access to NVIDIA’s GPUs. These are the technologies that are powering the AI revolution ― and an AI market set to exceed US$2.5 trillion within a decade.
GPUs are central to the global AI boom. They are an integral part of modern hyperscale data centres. Whilst prized by gamers, they are helping to speed up all sorts of tasks, from encryption to networking AI.
According to Colin Bosher, one of the co-founders at Nuway, there is relentless demand for GPUs, and these units can deliver some fantastic returns as a result, with demand far outstripping supply. Nuway can secure around 80% of occupancy income, which it can package into regulated investment bonds, domiciled in Guernsey.
GPU infrastructure is also at least 15 times more powerful in terms of data processing than the traditional CPU equivalent, which is why Nuway systems are typically deployed across purpose-built renewable energy data centres. Bosher thinks that as more and more data centres migrate from reliance on legacy CPUs, upside returns will be considerable. The yields alone are very attractive, when compared with, for example, domestic or commercial property buy-to-let investments and yields from the associated rental income.
Nuway’s GPU-aligned bond structure
Nuway offers investors a bond structure which can be full aligned with the GPU economics, with IRR/annual return circa 45% up to this point. The investment can create a return immediately. In the case of a direct purchase deal, the investor must wait for the GPUs to be bought, positioned in a data centre, and a contract found to generate income.
The Nuway bond already has income generating assets, so buying into the bond lets investors take advantage of existing assets, with no time lag.
The bond receives income from the shared income agreements with the operator. Income reinvests automatically in new GPUs without the investor having to make decisions as the income is the bond’s and not the investor’s. Income to the investor comes in the form of a guaranteed coupon of 6%. This can be taken as income, reinvested in new bonds, or reinvested in the Nuway unit trust. Once the initial KYC has been completed, this reinvestment can be carried out automatically on behalf of the investor.
Gold and government-backed high yield debt
Nuway also has a partnership with ZSI, which enables individuals to grow portfolios while supporting social and environmental projects. This has allowed the company to launch a unit trust which invests in high yield bonds backed by government agencies, and projects including education, social housing and health.
Nuway’s further partnership with Goldstream Global brings individuals access to the world’s safe haven commodity
Business accelerator
Alongside its personal portfolio offer, Nuway Capital helps businesses poised for the next phase of growth across two key challenges. Firstly, Nuway Capital supports companies in overcoming funding barriers, particularly from traditionally risk-averse sources such as banks. Utilising its comprehensive business network, it connects client companies with high-net-worth individuals to deliver innovative and alternative funding mechanisms.
Secondly, alternative funding goes hand in hand with a business accelerator programme, designed to streamline the transition from small to larger scale operations. This sees Nuway deploy its expertise in areas that include marketing, PR, Go-To-Market and networking strategies.
Responsible growth and the Nuway Foundation
Nuway Capital believes that any credible growth strategy must see profit and loss in terms beyond purely financial considerations, to encompass people and the planet. Portfolio offerings, for example, are designed to be as sustainable as possible.
Public sector backed, high yield unit trusts can support healthcare, education and social housing. Its gold offering embeds responsible and sustainable sourcing alongside mining community welfare – always adhering to international standards.
The company has also established the Nuway Foundation, which aims to bring benefits to people and planet. Starting in the UK, the foundation is partnering with organisations that include environmental activists, Surfers Against Sewage (SAS); and Be-Intrinsic. The latter is a social enterprise that provides access to creative arts for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
